e-couragement from home. :)
God is faithful and kind every day. On days when everything seems to go wrong, when the students are especially rude and disinterested, when humidity causes you to drip with sweat and the heat drains your energy, when you are so tired you feel like you cannot keep your eyes open or go on, when you don't get any emails or notes of encouragement from anyone and you feel absolutely alone in the "utter most parts of the sea" even then God is with you. He is with you and caring. He is in control and moving you to become more like His son. Everyday I am praying and every day more people are praying than you may ever know. It makes me smile with tears in my eyes to glimpse some of God's kindness. Eph 3:14-21 " ... and I pray that you... may have the power ... TO GRASP how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ ..."

"what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sin and grief to bear..."
"leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms..."

Hi Katie and Emily...I have tried to leave 2 comments, but because I am so computer illiterate, they never appeared. I said that I loved your loyalty analogy with your dogs, which reminded me of Troy. He was loyal to the extreme. He would break out of the yard at night and then sit on the front porch until dawn and when the first jogger would come innocently down the street Troy would race after them and terrorize them and on more than one occasion bite them in the fanny! His loyalty to us almost cost us a lawsuit! Teehee! Love you both and pray for you. Laurie
Hello again you great teachers! Today I was very busy with the set-up for the Moms In Touch giant garage sale at the Coopers, and flower power work with Carol Nave. We are doing the flowers for Andrea Shuck's wedding on Sat. She is the drama teacher at Aviara Oaks Middle School. She is marrying a fellow she met on E-Harmony....Well, know we care about how hard you are working too. Laurie
