Water from Heaven
Thank you for your prayers. We've had hard rain on and off for the past day and a half. Keep praying, though, please. And every time I hear the rain pounding on the roof (I actually woke up to it last night) I remember God's faithfulness and thank Him.
Also, please pray for my mosquito bites. I'm on number 54.
Thank you for all your comments and e-mails. Please, keep sending them! They are always welcome!

Praise God for whom are blessing flow, and flow, and flow - I continue to pray for good rain but not, of course, too much at once ;o) We are all praying for your bug bites too. lovin' you, mom
Dear " Velvet Hammer".... That is your new nickname!! What a perfect combination for a teacher!! I got that yesterday from Bill Brandon. We were having dinner with the Brandons and I was telling them about your challenging students. Bill said, "that Katie is much stronger than you would think" She is like a hammer sheathed in velvet." Wow! Strong, yet gentle. I trust that picture will encourage your heart as you strive to teach your students this week, and as you talk to their parents. Love, Laurie B.
Praise the Lord for his mercies that flow so abundantly! I am praying for your conferences this week. Keep looking up! I love you!
